Visit Suffolk launches Suffolk Wine Trail to showcase local vineyards

Visit Suffolk launched a new Suffolk Wine Trail across Suffolk in June, coinciding with English Wine Week, to showcase the county’s growing vineyards. Hosted on the Visit Suffolk website and funded by local Visitor Economy teams including Mid Suffolk, Babergh and West Suffolk, the trail profiles eight of the county’s largest vineyards from Valley Farm near Halesworth to Giffords Hall Vineyard and ARK Wines, out of more than 13 producers now operating in Suffolk. Participating sites offer tastings, regular tours and fine-dining experiences; the site includes an interactive map and a 'Girls Weekend' itinerary to help visitors plan a wine‑filled weekend and extend their stay. Aldeburgh Market Hall to host winter makers market on 14 November 2026

Aldeburgh Market Hall in Aldeburgh will host a winter makers market on 14 November 2026, bringing together independent artists, designers and food producers from across the Suffolk Coast. The one-day event runs 10am–4pm and will feature more than 30 local makers, seasonal food stalls, hands-on workshops and live acoustic music, with free entry. Organiser Anna Reed says the aim is to create a relaxed winter event that gives people a reason to spend the day in Aldeburgh and discover independent makers across the coast.
